Fall really is that great...

Fall or Autumn.. whatever you call it, if its not your favorite season I think of you as quite insane.

The humidity and and gross sweating of the summer is over, hot beverages taste way better and Christmas is right around the corner. Also all of this...

1. Autumn Clothing.... Fall has the best fashion options by far. Early autumn brings out light layers like a sweater over a sundress and later autumn brings out the scarves, leather jackets, boots, etc. Also, the colors!!! MAROON - my favorite, deep blue, army green... You can see a lot of these in my NEW Fashion video that was super fun to film & took a year and a half to edit (just kidding it took a weekend, but still..)

Oh and Tess Christine (my FAVORITE Youtuber of all time watched it & commented that she LOVED it... WHAT?! Is this real life???)

2. Autumn Food... I'm not on the hugely obsessed PSL (Pumpkin Spice Latte) bandwagon, but I love everything else pumpkin... PUMPKIN PIE!!! I also am obsessed with anything salted caramel.. for instance my Sea Salt Caramel Hot Chocolate I made in my School Night Routine..

The food in Fall is so warm and cozy and usually contains cheese.. so there's that haha!

3. Autumn Weather... Okay so I'm sure you're all with me here! Temperatures between 50-75 are IDEAL! Its not sweltering or freezing. You can wear a jacket or not and pants or a skirt. Its the perfect time for a walk with your significant other.. or mom in my case haha! The leaves are all changing colors which is so cliche but soooo pretty! The leaves crumble under your feet, there's that chill in the air, there are PUMPKINs EVERYWHERE! And usually I don't really like flowers.. I know weird but whatever... but mums! Mums are so nice. The colors are ideal and they just make any front porch or steps into a fall sanctuary... you can see this in my Autumn Fashion Lookbook linked above #shamelessselfpromotion

4. Autumn Holidays... Halloween, Thanksgiving, my Birthday... all reasons to be excited in fall, my birthday being the most important obviously hahah!!! Halloween isn't my favorite probably because I'm not huge on candy, I don't have children and I don't drink.. so really the only thing I do is hand out candy to the four trick or treaters we usually get at my house.. But Thanksgiving.. First of all going along with food, I LOVE to cook. I LOVE to eat. And I LOVE to spend time with my family. The house smells amazing, football is on in the background for me since I don't really understand the sport although I cheered for it for two years. Also putting together my Thanksgiving outfit is sooooo fun!!!

5. My Birthday... Yes I included this in holidays, but it deserves its own section. My birthday is about 6 days after the start of Autumn, depending on if Autumn starts September 21st or 22nd.. I can never remember. So yea mines on September 27th. (also I realize I'm capitalizing the season of Autumn when its not supposed to be, but I like it so there ha) As you get older you unfortunately get less gifts... but you do get more MOOLLLAAA!!!! or money if you call it that. You also get more wrinkles, more stress and more debt (in my case). But whether you're hanging out in your house eating store bought cake with your mom or out on the town as the kids call it, birthdays are awesome! You're the center of attention and can pretty much get anything you want.. except for a million bucks and the man of your dreams, but usually free drinks, free tiramisu and lots of hugs and weird gifts from random relatives.

6. Autumn TV/Movies... Yes Halloween has passed, but HOCUS POCUS!!! BEST MOVIE EVER! If you don't like it than there's something seriously wrong with you. Anyways along with that, all the movies on ABC Family's 13 nights of Halloween are amazing and OMG who agrees that 13 nights of Halloween should totally be 31 nights.. I mean come on!!! 13? thats just a dumb amount and not nearly enough to build up the anticipation for Halloween

7. Autumn Romance... So yes, maybe the You've Got Mail plot began in the Fall and is one of the best love stories in my opinion, but Autumn is a lovely time to get jiggy with it. Everyone is still on their summer break high and in a good mood and Christmas is coming!!! Its a wonderful time to meet new people. You're not completely showing off your body like in the midst of summer, and you're not entirely bundled up like in midst of winter. People look good, they feel good, they're enjoying their life and are happy (for the most part) Plus everyone looks good in maroon/burgundy. Although I am as single as they come, I feel more open to romance in Fall and people are more likely to settle down in Fall. (Thats not a scientific study or anything just my opinion) In Summer people are sweaty and want a fling, in Winter people are just too cold (although I think snow if SUPER romantic) and in Spring.. well spring only lasts about 5 seconds so it doesn't really count as a season.
